Update

Christmas turned out really well for my family. It was very short with quite a bit of travelling but everyone had a great time; especially the kids. Now we are getting things back to normal.

My last two jump sessions have gone pretty well. I moved back to 10 steps just before Christmas in a jump session with Derek Miles. We continue to look at the bottom arm as we move back along with position on the pole as we raise the grip. I have been jumping 4.90 & 5m bungees here. The next day I ran 1.5sec through the speed trap which translates to 10m per second. Coming back from Christmas, we had a 4 step day to work on technique. Thinking about my bottom hand position has been beneficial to my punch at the box. For the next couple of weeks, we plan to jump from 10 steps and making a ton of bars.

Hope everyone has a Happy New Year!

Update

The last couple of weeks have gone pretty well. We've continued to work on a couple of things at the plant. With those getting better, we moved back to ten steps to gear up for the indoor season. Ihave had a better focus on my overall fitness this offseason. My weight has come down and my speed and strength have increased.

At home, we are getting ready for Christmas. Louis went to see Santa last week and gave him an ear full of all the presents he wants this year.Louis is now in a more advanced group in gymnastics and is getting better each time. Chloe got her first pic with Santa and made the paper with a very cute picture. She already has two new teeth this month. I took the USATF officials exam last week and got certified. That's all that has been going on here. Hope eveyone has a Merry Christmas!
